
Dr. Clementine Msengi is an award-winning speaker, consultant, educator, mentor, and certified professional coach (CPC) who survived the Rwandan genocide and speaks nationally on numerous issues. She speaks in university settings on student leadership, creating academic success, and building academic and personal resilience. Dr. Msengi also speaks on growing through adversity, spiritual growth in suffering, building faith in crisis, leadership, mentoring, resilience, community and family health, and refugee and immigrant immigration assimilation.
Dr. Clem has earned multiple national awards for leadership and community service. She was a New Voices Fellow, awarded through the Academy for Educational Leadership through the Ford Foundation. She is also a Global Alumni of the Echoing Green Foundation and a recipient of the Outstanding American by Choice award, which was presented to her by Emilio Gonzalez, Director for the United States.
Dr. Msengi speaks at international conferences and seminars, as well as retreats, women’s events, community and faith-based outreaches. She also consults and mentors. Dr. Msengi is a visiting professor at Lamar University in Texas, where she lives with her husband and children.
